The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches a developmental program to enhance the technical and administrative skills of its staff..

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by the Human Development Department has launched in collaboration with the national centre for administrative and technical development of the Iraqi Ministry of Planning, an integral developmental training program to enhance the technical and administrative skills of its staff, consistent with the international development in these areas.

On this occasion, a ceremony was held in the hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and seminars in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, attended by a number of members of the Board of Directors, head of departments of the sacred shrine and guests from the Ministry of Planning.

The ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Amru Al-'Ula Al-Kafa'i, followed by the word of the Secretariat-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by the Deputy Secretary General, Engineer Bashir Mohammaed Jassem, in which he said:
"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine attaches great important to the process of building, whether in terms of architecture or of individuals, which is evident through the implementation of many construction projects inside the holy city of Karbala and beyond, in addition to its interest in human resources development, which is a wide program for the sake of making good models in the community. This is why the holy shrine has adopted human development projects starting with nursery, kindergarten, primary schools and up to universities, as it was confirmed by the Holy Quran and the sacred Prophet's biography and narrations..."

Followed by the word of the Iraqi Ministry of Planning delivered by the director of the Training Department at the National Centre of the Ministry of Planning, Mrs. Ilham Latik Shakar, in which she explained: "The main objective of us is to melt the training process elements in a good interactive and coherent system resulting homogeneity and complementarity, so that any administrative component who plays alone wouldn't be able to achieve the desired goal. We seek seriously and wholeheartedly to achieve an outstanding performance especially with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine management that is the most loyal and ambitious to reach the best of performances."

Then, the Head of Planning and Human development Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Dr. Fouad Al-Qazwini has delivered his word, in which he stated: "The development concept means the ability to make a change and entrench it in the individuals, contexts and leadership, and to create the ambitious spirit in the individuals to present what is new, as the change begins by a step. For this purpose the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine started by the establishment of the planning and human development department, which role is to establish training courses for the skills development for the employees of the holy shrine, and since the section is expanding, we thought of the collaboration with the Ministry of Planning."
