The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has organized a series of religious activities in the African country of Tanzania.
One of the staff of the reporting unit of the Center for African Studies in the Department, Mr. Muslim al-Jaberi, said: "the center has prepared a program for this year in the African continent, which included a range of religious, cultural and intellectual activities."
He added that"the program included the performance of Friday prayer ceremonies at Al-Ghadeer mosque/ Kigogo area/ Dar es Salaam province in Tanzania to gather believers; to make a one-word statement, and to demonstrate the features of authentic Mohammadian Islam, amid the presence of a large gathering of lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".
For his part, the Friday preacher Sheikh Jamal Abdullah kosolo said: "the Friday sermon included the presentation of a set of virtues of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and touched on the moral topics that every believer should have in his daily life."
Through its programs and activities, the Center for African Studies aims to disseminate the correct and clear fiqh and doctrinal knowledge and the authentic Islamic thought, and to improve the cultural, intellectual, social and humanitarian reality in the African society.
