The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine concludes the activities of the central ceremony for the graduation of Iraqi university students

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded the activities of the central ceremony for the graduation of Iraqi university students, with the participation of more than 4,500 students from 54 Iraqi public and private universities.

The closing ceremony, which was held in the Al-Ameed Educational Group, witnessed the presence of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a number of its officials, representatives of the Ministry of higher education and Iraqi universities, academic and social figures.

During the morning of the ceremony, the graduating students repeated the graduation oath of loyalty and honesty to serve the homeland and humanity, in front of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him), delivered by Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine, followed by the performance of the rituals of the Ziyarat of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him).

While the activities of the evening period included a speech to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine delivered by the Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, followed by a speech by the representative of Iraqi universities delivered by the president of the Technological University; Dr. Ahmed al-Ghabban, followed by a speech to graduate students delivered on their behalf by student Mohammad Ali al-Ashtar from the University of Basra.

The ceremony also witnessed a video presentation about the youngest martyr of the Holy fatwa of efficient defense, the student (Mortadha al-Sarai) who fulfilled the fatwa and joined the ranks of the defenders of Iraq, leaving his dream of achieving higher degrees of science.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of honorary shields from the presidents of a number of universities participating in the ceremony to the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, in appreciation of His Eminence's support for the practical and educational process in Iraq.
