The Holy Shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them): A spiritual outlet for the believers..

Imam As-Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said to Al-Hussein bin Ali bin Thuwayr: "O Hussein, He who leaves his house intending to visit Al-Hussayn son of Ali son of Abi Taleb (peace be upon them), if on foot, for every step God gives him a reward and erases a sin. And if on a mount, for every move, God gives him a reward and erases a sin. Once he reaches the shrine, God writes him among the righteous, and once he finishes his rituals, God writes him among the winners. so, when he intends to leave, an angel comes to him and tells him: I am the Messenger of Allah, Your Lord sends greetings of peace and says to you: Go back, all your sins have been forgiven."

On the basis of this Hadith, the holy city of Karbala is witnessing during these days, an intensive influx of the visitors from within and outside Iraq. Coinciding with spring break, the province received hundreds of thousands of visitors intending to perform the Zyarat of the shrines of the two martyrs of At-Taf; Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), which led to an economic and hotel activity in the holy city.

The visitors count this Zyarat as a spiritual and psychological outlet for each of them, to ask for the fulfilment of their needs, without forgetting its countless rewards that angels are sent to count them. The visitors hope that by the intercession of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), God will fulfil their needs, especially during such difficult days in which Iraq passes through bitter experience face to the forces of evil and misguidance from all sides, the visitors then pray so that safety and security prevails in the whole Iraq, that terrorism vanishes and to give the courage and patience and strengthen the determination and the steadfastness of the security forces so they free every inch of Iraq, the land of holy sites.

Statistics show that during Thursdays and Fridays, nearly half a million of visitors come to the holy shrines as a weekly average during the year, but during the Thursdays of the summer holidays or Eid days, this number increases a lot.

The employees of both holy shrines in all their service sections, intensify their efforts to provide the comfort to the visitors, doing their best by providing transport means from the outer parts of the holy city of Karbala to the closest point to the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
