Al-Kafeel Residential Complex: Continuous works and follow-up and the executing company declares its commitment to finish the project on schedule..

The project of the Al-Kafeel Residential Complex for housing the employees of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is progressing rapidly, its works are divided to stages according to each section so the works go in parallel. This project like other projects is going under the direct and continuous follow-up of the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its projects' department in order to oversee the progress of works, and to urge the executing company to make more efforts in order to accelerate its accomplishment for the sake of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Engineer Bashir Mohamed Jassem, accompanied by a member of its Board of Directors, Engineer Jaafar Mohamed Jaafar conducted a field tour on the project. They have listened to a detailed explanation for the conduct of the works and were briefed on the most important completed stages and the most essential administrative procedures required by the project, such as addressing letters to the electricity, water and sewer department in the holy city of Karbala. During this visit, the two executive companies (Sibtayn and Hiran) were urged to make more efforts to accelerate the works in order to finish the project on schedule and according to the technical and engineering specifications agreed upon. And, they have shown clear understanding and interaction and they have promised in the same time to accomplish all works of the project on time, to let the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine deliver the houses to its employees who are eagerly awaiting the completion of this project.

As for the Engineer Maher Abdel-Ameer Salman, the Managing Directors of the Al-Sibtayn Company for Constructions, he explained to the Al-Kafeel Network the following: "The works, by the cooperation of the projects' department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its administration through their continuous follow-up, is progressing rapidly, according to the developed plan for all the 829 houses. And because it is one of the largest projects, it is obvious that it faces some administrative and technical problems, which might cause some stops. But, The praise to God, with the blessing of our master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) we were able to overcome them and to continue the works with the same pace, as we have accomplished all logistics for the extension of rain and heavy water, which will be implemented soon. Noting that the completion percentage has exceeded 60%, which is for us excellent regarding the side of the project. Also, more than 91 % of houses' foundations have been accomplished, which goes in parallel with the works of the new houses' foundations, which implementation has reached 92 %, in addition to the completion of the construction of 90% of houses..."

It is noteworthy that the project will be built on an area of (305,000 m2) representing horizontally (829 houses) with its infrastructures, streets and services, health and education's buildings, all belonging to the complex, which is strategically located midway between the provinces of Najaf and Babylon, on the road linking both (Babylon - Karbala) and (Najaf - Karbala), after making all official transactions for the ownership, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine got the acquisition of this land that is a dedicated area for housing under the urban plan of the holy city of Karbala, and which is approved by the Ministry of municipalities and public works in Iraq.
