The competition is supervised by the House of the great prophet of the department, which aims to enhance knowledge and spread awareness of the auspicious biography of the Great Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) among the Muslim community, and encourage to devote time to reading his blessed biography, to establish the virtues of his morality and his good approach.
The assistant head of the House, Dr. Laith al-Waeli, said in a speech during the honoring ceremony, that, "the second edition of the (good example [al-Uswah al-Hasanah]) competition witnessed a remarkable positive development compared to the previous year, while the number of participants in the first edition reached (250) participants, the number of contestants who contributed to the second edition reached (350) participants, and the competition Management Committee announced the competition in a timely manner, and published the announcement the first winner received a score of one hundred out of a hundred, and (10) of them received a score of (98), which is undoubtedly good and joyful results.
He added that the Great Prophet House [Dar al-Rasool al-A'dham], after witnessing the good results of the competition and the high turnout to participate in it, intends - God willing - to make the competition in the coming years inclusive of the biography of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and the biography of the imams of guidance from the Ahl al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them), who are a tree, which origin is fixed and its branch in heaven, in order to push the participants in the competition to seek their great efforts in building the foundations of the true Islam, and we pray the Almighty to bestow upon us success.
In conclusion, al-Waeli extended his thanks and appreciation to all those who helped in preparing for the (al-Uswah al-Hasanah) Competition, and especially to the head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, and to all those present at this ceremony.
