Industries and crafts department: we have achieved sufficiency for the Departments of the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine and are seeking to supply the local market

The Department of industries and artistic crafts at the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine has stressed on achieving self-sufficiency for the holy shrine's departments of works related to iron, aluminum and office furniture, and seeks to supply the local market with its products.

The assistant head of the Department, engineer Ammar Salah Mahdi, said:"the department has reached the stage of self-sufficiency and meet the needs of all departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, whether it is the work of windows or doors, in addition to all office furniture, as well as the presence of specialized staff to maintain and treat pieces that are damaged or broken."

He added that "the department includes two divisions: the first is interested in Iron Works of windows, doors, iron sections, in addition to aluminum and pvc, while the other division is artistic crafts, which has many tasks, including special furnishing works of carpentry and all office furniture, as well as two financial and administrative divisions".

He added that" the Department's staff of more than (260) affiliates have multiple works, including the creation of doors for the host complex of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) of good quality and identical to the doors of the Holy sanctuary, "pointing out that"all the work for the department is done by Iraqi hands from our technical staff."

Mahdi explained that "the Department seeks to supply the local market by providing high-quality and technical products that meet the requirements of customers through the companies affiliated to the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine and private contracting, in addition to external customers, as we are working to establish a special exhibition of the works implemented by the department and put them to the local market to supply it with quality and durability".

He pointed out that"the Department seeks to issue a special magazine for the department to show customers furniture and other works and services provided by our staffs, and each product carries a code in addition to its price".
