The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Center for African Studies, has opened a new well in the city of Manakri, Madagascar, to provide water to thousands of families.
The well bore the number (29) of the series of wells that are being implemented in more than (13) African countries, within the project (Saqi Atashi Karbala) implemented by the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine on the African continent, and it was named (Bab al-Hussein (peace be upon him)).
A ceremony was held on the occasion of the opening of the well, attended by officials from the city, and a gathering of its citizens, during which they thanked and appreciated the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and the management of the Center for African Studies, for their attention and care to the African community, and providing life opportunities for them by drilling dozens of Wells.
The project (Saqi Atashi Karbala) has been implemented for several years on the African continent, to irrigate vast areas of agricultural land, as well as provide water to thousands of African families.
