The Minister of Electricity appreciates the role of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine in supporting the energy sector in Karbala

The Minister of Electricity, engineer Ziad Ali Fadel, praised the role of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in supporting the energy sector in Karbala governorate.

This came during his visit to the holy shrine and he and his accompanying delegation performed the ceremony of Ziyarat of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Fadel met with the chief advisor of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, engineer Talal al-Beer, and listened to an explanation about some of the holy shrine's projects to serve visitors and the community.

The minister of electricity expressed his thanks and appreciation to the holy shrine for its efforts to support the energy sector, especially in the field of the construction of electric stations and the allocation of land for them, stressing that this great role has clearly contributed to alleviating the suffering of Karbala governorate.

He added that "our visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine to find out the latest joint preparations for the holy month of Muharram and the Ziyarat Arba'een".
