Conclusion of the activities of the first day of the second international Imamate week

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded the activities of the first day of the second international Imamate week.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine holds the second international Imamate week under the slogan (prophecy and the Imamate are inseparable titles) and under the title (program of imams - peace be upon them-in the education of the individual and the nation) for the period from 27/06/2024 to 04/07/2024.

The events of the first day witnessed the presence of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi, its secretary general; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, members of the board of directors, a number of its officials, in addition to official, academic and Hawza figures.

The events began with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran by the reader; Sayed Haydar Gelokhan, followed by listening to the national anthem and the anthem of the holy shrine (the melody of the Pride) and then reading Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq.

After that, a speech was delivered to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by the Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and then a documentary film was shown about the events of the first international Imamate week, and a poem by the poet Mr. Muhannad Jamal al-Din, in addition to the opening paper presented by the researcher Sheikh Ali al-Jaziri.

The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, honored a group of personalities who have a prominent impact in the scientific arena and distinguished writers that have written on the subject of the Imamate, and the events of the first day of the week also witnessed the opening of the art exhibition for participants in the amateur photography competition by the media department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The activities of the first day of the week concluded with the establishment of a scientific workshop on the personality of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and included two lectures, one by Sheikh Mustafa al-Amili, and the other by Sheikh Ali al-Ghazi.

The second international Imamate week includes the holding of 12 scientific conferences on the twelve infallible imams (peace be upon them), as the focus of each conference is represented by one of the imams (peace be upon them), in addition to technical competitions, seminars and scientific workshops.

During the Imamate week, the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine seeks to devote the sciences of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their biography in addressing the crises of the contemporary world, and to demonstrate the impact of the role of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in resolving intellectual doubts and countering deviant ideas.
