The Annual Children's Festival is concluded by a theatre piece and the praise of the governor of Karbala..

The Division of Childhood and Youth of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has concluded the events of the First Annual Children's Festival held under the slogan: "The today's children are the tomorrow's men and the future's symbol" and has lasted seven days on the Park of the Hussayni family gardens in Karbala.

At the conclusion of its events, which varied in all that contribute and help in the development of the children's mental, physical and intellectual capacity, the closing ceremony included a theatre piece played by the students of one of the schools of the Educational Directorate of the holy city of Karbala, about the tragic events that befell on Our Lady and Saint Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and the injustice and oppression from which she suffered after the martyrdom of her father (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household).

On the other hand, the governor of Karbala, Mr. Aqeel Al-Turayhi and the chairman of the provincial council Mr. Jassem Al-Khattabi were presents at the closing ceremony, and were briefed about the various festival's events by the Deputy Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department Sayed. Aqeel Ab Al-Hussayn Al-Yassiri who welcomed them and explained to them the objective and the purpose from the establishment of this festival.

At the end of their visit, the governor praised the festival and the tireless efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that target the different segments of the society, and this time the most prominent one which is the children and the youth, and that this festival is only an evidence of this approach adopted by the holy shrine since a while. Praying God to bless the efforts made for the development of the child and childhood.
