The committees of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring continue the preparations for its establishment..

The International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring has achieved in its last ten editions a clear and remarkable progress, and in order to maintain this achievement and to enhance its level in line with the position of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and in proportion with greatness of the occasion for which it is held each year, the birth anniversaries of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and the Mohammadian moons (peace be upon them), the administrative and technical committees emerged from the preparatory committee of the festival started their preparations according to the directions and recommendations of the Supreme Supervising Committee.

The invitations were sent to the personalities that will participate in the festival after that the Supreme Supervising Committee has agreed upon them, and a wide campaign was held for advertising the festival by placing signs in different locations at the entrances and exits of the city, which is part of the media and ad plan of the festival that include other future activities set up according the developed plan.

As for the Karbala international book exhibition held within the festival events, and which will take place in the shrine of Zaynab (peace be upon her) from the 23rd Rajab to the 7th of Sha'ban -for fifteen days-, the allocated place for it was prepared, the technical staffs began covering these halls to be ready to the exhibition and to welcome the visitors. The invitations to participate in the exhibition were sent to several Arab and international countries, and also all logistic and ground services for the publishing Houses are ready in addition to other services all of which are provided by the administration of both holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to all participants of this international book fair.

It is worth mentioning that the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring is organized by the General Secretaries of the Holy Shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) annually to celebrate the birth anniversaries of lights of the Saint Prophet's Household (Peace be upon them),the grandson of our saint Prophet (Prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) Imam Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn, his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and Imam Ali As-Sajjad (peace be upon them). This festival is one of the religious and cultural events held by the holy shrines in order to educate the community and to increase its intellectual and religious consciousness, to demonstrate the effects and results of the great righteous revolution of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) after 14 centuries giving the humanity the freedom of thought facing the injustice, defeating the falsehood no matter its origins and establishing the truth.
