The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds a condolence Council in Nigeria

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has set up a Husseini condolence Council in the Nigerian city of Kaduna.

The council organized the African Studies Center of the department in the presence of a large gathering of lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The director of the center in Madinah, Sheikh Ibrahim Musa Yusuf, presented a lecture at the council, entitled " the virtues of crying over the misfortunes of Imam al-Hussayn from the sayings of the infallible (peace be upon them)". these activities are part of the center's efforts to spread the thought of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in various regions of the African continent.

The Center for African Studies is keen to promote religious culture through the establishment of condolences councils on an ongoing basis, and always seeks to revive the events of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) that contribute to enhancing religious and social awareness among members of the community.
