Thousands of visitors commemorate the eve of the seventh of Muharram in Karbala

Visitors continue to commemorate the eve of the seventh of Muharram at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Karbala.

Large crowds of mourners from various regions of Iraq and the world flocked to the two holy shrines in Karbala, in preparation for the tenth day of Muharram, the day on which believers remember the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions (peace be upon them).

The mourners have always commemorated the tragedy, as an embodiment of the principles of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his great sacrifices for the sake of truth and Justice.

For its part, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to implement its condolences and service program, which it has prepared through its departments and formations to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions (peace be upon them) on the day of Ashura.
