To commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her), the Holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) declares the mourning..

Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) is the example of the nobility and the loyalty, she is the trusted wife of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and the mother of the "Tribe's Moon" Al-Abbas with three other moons. Peace be upon whom the Saint Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) will be the one asking for her right and the right of her son during the Day of Judgement.

During the 13th of Jumada II, the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) commemorate the sad anniversary of the death of the Immaculate Lady Fatima daughter of Huzam Al-Kilabiyah, Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her), which the family of the Prophecy House (peace be upon them) lost in grief during the year 64 AH. This venerable lady was a good example and a role model, as she is the example of steadfastness, fidelity, valour, sacrifice, honour, pride and dignity for the sake of truth and justice.

Once Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) was informed about the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon her) the day of Ashura, she was devastated, bereaved and kept crying day and night to express her sincere feelings and lasting grief, as for the sake of Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) "the eyes of sensitive and thoughtful people should be full of overflowing tears, their voices choked up with emotion; and should cry out to protest against the injustice done, calling up dumb and insensate souls to stir and take notice."

And to comply with the order of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) to love Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and as commemoration of all events related to them, and because the death of this venerable lady caused deep grief to the family of the Prophecy House (peace be upon them), the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) commemorate this sad anniversary by holding many mourning activities, by covering all the wall by black, declaring the mourning and preparing a mourning program for the occasion. The servants of both holy shrines have participated in a great condolences procession, as the servants of the holy shrine of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) headed towards the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to present him their condolences for the death anniversary of his mother. And along with the servant of his holy shrine, a condolence Majlis was held, in which the participating mourners were chanting lamentations that express their sorrow and show the great status of this virtuous lady (peace be upon her).

Crowds of faithful and lovers of the holy Household of the Saint Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) have participated in many condolences processions since the morning of this day to present their condolences and to commemorate this sad anniversary.

So, peace be upon Umm Al-Baneen, Peace be upon whom God has chosen her to be the wife of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), peace be upon whom God has chosen her to be a second mother for Lady Az-Zahra's (peace be upon her) saint children, peace be upon whom was a faithful mother to the children of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), Peace be upon whose sons supported and redeemed Imam Al-Hussayn, the martyr (peace be upon him), peace be upon You O faithful to the love of Al-Hassan and Al-Hussayn (peace be upon both of them) and upon your husband the Commander of the Faithful and upon your son Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas who has redeemed with his soul Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
