The department between the Two Holy Shrines finishes its preparations to receive Ashura visitors

The Department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the end of all preparations to receive the visitors of the tenth of Muharram and organize the Twayreej Run ritual.

The assistant head of the Department, Mr. Mohammed Mustafa al-Taweel, said that"the staff of the department and the volunteer teams have finished furnishing the central square of the area between the Two Holy Shrines with 10 thousand square meters of red carpets, in preparation for receiving the participants of the Twayreej run ritual on the tenth of Muharram".

He added that" the furnishing process began by cleaning the area, followed by the stage of furnishing the allocated area with a layer of insulating nylon, followed by furnishing with the red carpet, in an effort to provide all the needs for the success of the ceremony of the Blessed Ziyarat, " stressing the completion of all preparations to receive visitors.

Millions of believers on the tenth day of the month of Muharram commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions(peace be upon them) on the day of Ashura, and participate in the mourning of the Twayreej run, which begins after the noon prayer.
