Hundreds of thousands of visitors commemorate the eve of the tenth of Muharram in Karbala

Visitors continue to commemorate the eve of the tenth day of Muharram, at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

The roads leading to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon them), and the entrances to the Old City witnessed large crowds of visitors, heading towards the holy shrines to commemorate the Ziyarat of Ashura, on the eve of the tenth day of the month of Muharram.

Since the first days of the holy month of Muharram, a heavy movement of visitors and Husseini processions has been taking place, according to an organized plan developed by the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, where its march is through specific streets leading to the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(Peace be upon him) passing through the Holy Courtyard, and then out of the gate of Imam al-Hassan(Peace be upon him), to conclude its mourning at the shrine of the Lord of martyrs Imam Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn(Peace be upon him), passing through the square between the Two Holy Shrines.

Millions of visitors from inside and outside Iraq will celebrate tomorrow the tenth day of Muharram, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn(peace be upon him) and his family and companions(peace be upon them) in Ashura.
