Crowds of visitors commemorate Ashura at the Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother al-Abbas (peace be upon them)

Large crowds of visitors commemorated, this Wednesday morning, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn and his family (peace be upon them) and his companions on the tenth day of the holy month of Muharram in the holy city of Karbala, amid a security and service alert.

The roads leading to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and the entrances to the Old City, witnessed large crowds of visitors from inside and outside the country, to perform Ziyarat rituals and revive the Ziyarat of Ashura.

The crowds of visitors commemorated the ceremonies of Ziyarat of the tenth of the holy month of Muharram amid security and service measures witnessed in Holy Karbala, while the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine mobilized the efforts of all its staff to provide the best services to the millions of mourners, and it provided various services for the Husseini processions participating in the service of visitors arriving to commemorate the occasion.

The holy shrine broadcasted the full story of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), by the late reader Sheikh Abdul Zahra Al-Kaabi.

The Al-Abbas's (p) shrine has mobilized the efforts of all its staff to provide various services to visitors and Husseini processions scattered in the city, while it has completed all preparations for the Twayreej run ritual, which will start after noon prayers today.
