The department between the two shrines announces the success of its plan for the first half of the month of Muharram

The Department of the area between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the success of its plan for the first half of the holy month of Muharram.

The assistant head of the Department, Mr. Mohammed al-Taweel, said:"the department has prepared a special plan for the first half of the holy month of Muharram, which includes Ziyarat Ashura and the burial ceremony of the holy bodies of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and it began from the first day of the holy month of Muharram, and included three (service, security, and organizational) axes."

He added that"the Department exerted all its efforts on the service side in coordination with the relevant departments to provide the best services to visitors during this period, and the work on the service side included cleaning the streets leading to the holy shrines and the central squares of the area between the Two Holy Shrines around the clock".

With regard to the organizational aspect, al-Taweel stressed that "the department has achieved great success and no negative remarks have been recorded, through coordination with the rest of the Departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine from the first night of the month of Muharram until after the burial ceremony of the holy bodies of the martyrs of the at-Taf tragedy, in addition to organizing the mourning of Twayreej Run with high precision to ensure the regular flow of crowds to the Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".

He explained that"the department has alerted its staff in the security aspect by deploying them to all the inspection points and areas under responsibility, and the plan was implemented in high coordination with all concerned authorities".
