The start of the activities of the twenty-third "Banat al-'Aqeedah" camp

The division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched the activities of the "Banat al-Aqeedah" (faith girls) camp in its twenty-third edition, with the participation of more than (270) students from the governorates of Maysan, Wasit, Salah al-Din, Ninawa and Diwaniyah.

The camp included a variety of cultural and family activities, scientific workshops, ideological, religious and moral lectures, as well as artistic activities aimed at discovering talents, in addition to sports competitions and programs, Quranic sessions, and an open dialogue that included questions and answers."

The morning activities opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the student Rabab from Nineveh Governorate, followed by a welcoming speech by the division's official, Mrs. Bushra al-Kenani, during which she spoke about the educational Scout Camps project and its goals in creating women capable of building a conscious generation armed with science, through various activities that provide participants with information at all levels to be a reference for them when necessary.

The morning activities included a lecture entitled The role of women in the time of the occultation of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) and the time of his reappearance, delivered by the professor at the Hawza; Mrs. Hind Al-Husseini, in which she stated that "women have a pivotal role in the reform and Renaissance movement in the time of the absence of the imam, as Islamic texts indicate that women are no exception in the general course of the movement of Islam and carry out religious duties, and that women have leadership roles similar to men, including logistical work such as treating the wounded, medicine, food support and other duties.

In addition to providing another lecture on some initial issues on the subject of ablution, to provide the participants with the correct Fiqh information according to the fatwas of the supreme religious authority; Sayed. Ali al-Sistani by the teacher at Fatima bint Asad religious school, Mrs. Anwar Fadel.

The Banat al-Aqeedah camp is an important step in the framework of the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to enhance religious and cultural awareness among female university students and prepare them for active participation in society.
