Iraqi surgeon: the operating theaters at Al-Kafeel hospital are advanced and are an important factor in our successes

An Iraqi doctor specializing in neurosurgery described the operating theaters at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital as the important factor in conducting and succeeding operations, especially complex ones.

Dr. Al-Sarraj said:" the modern and advanced operating theater technologies available at the hospital are usually an important auxiliary factor along with the expertise of the medical team in conducting operations and their success, "noting that"our successes have become numerous in treating patients with neurological problems, many of which are complex and advanced cases and have become routinely performed.

He added that"a thirty-year-old woman was examined by us and was complaining of severe pain in the lower extremities as a result of herniated discs in the lumbar vertebrae, and careful examinations showed us the presence of a previous fracture in one of her vertebrae and was not diagnosed by the doctors who examined her."

"We performed the operation to open and stabilize the sliding vertebrae, implant artificial cartilage, and free the spinal cord and nerves," al-Sarraj continued, pointing out that "the work for about three hours in the operating theater ended with complete success without any complications for the patient, and her health condition improved and the pain in her limbs ended and we ended her suffering."
