The Department of Religious Affairs concludes its condolence program on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him)

The Department of religious affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concluded its condolence program on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him).

The head of the Department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, said that"the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine held a mourning Council in the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which lasted for three days, in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him)".

He added that" the council included multiple axes, including the biography of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) and his Sciences, and his religious and social role, in addition to addressing the lessons from his life (peace be upon him), "pointing out that"the council falls within the condolence program of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine to commemorate this anniversary, and is one of the annual councils held by the department before noon prayer; in order to benefit the largest possible number of attendees."

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to establish mourning councils in order to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him), with the participation of a number of its staffs and crowds of visitors.
