Abbas squad: our services during the Ziyarat Arba'een will extend from the border crossings to the holy shrines

The commander of the Abbas's (peace be upon him) Squad; Sayed Maytham al-Zaidi, confirmed that the services of the division will extend from the border crossings to the holy shrines in Karbala during the Ziyarat Arba'een.

This came during the press conference on preparations for the Ziyarat Arba'een of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Al-Zaidi said,"this year will be our biggest and largest effort of the Ziyarat Arba'een in the year of 1446 Ah, compared to previous years, as our services will extend from the border ports to the holy shrines, and this year we will enter the Safwan border port west of Basra, in addition to our usual entry every year at the ports of Shalamcheh, zerbatya, Al-Sheeb and Mandhriyah."

"The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine complex will be opened for the hospitality and service of visitors at the zarbatiya port in Wasit governorate, during the next few hours, and the forces of the Abbas's (p) squad will be deployed in its own axes in coordination with the higher authorities of the Office of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, the Operations Command and the rest of the security services,"he added.

We control the airspace of the vital area that includes the holy shrines, and prevent any unauthorized flights in coordination with the two holy shrines and the command of the Holy Karbala operations,"al-Zaidi continued.

"The security plan was updated according to the challenges, taking into account the smooth entry and exit of visitors," he explained, noting that the squad has "high coordination to make the Ziyarat plan a success, and alternative plans for each emergency, and we expect that it will proceed properly."

He pointed out that"the hands of the Al-Kafeel knights, as part of the Ziyarat plan last year, honored about 27 million inspections of visitors, distributed 50 million glasses of water, about 1.7 million meals, 1.44 million liters of water, 110 thousand ice blocks, 298 thousand loaves, received 87 thousand patients in our medical departments, dispensed 4.5 tons of medicines, and referred 598 cases to hospitals".
