For the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her), the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is decorated with beautiful flowers..

Imam As-Sadiq (peace be upon him) was asked about the reason of calling Fatima By "Az-Zahra", he (peace be upon him) said: My grandfather has said about her: “Surely my daughter Fatima is the Mistress of all women from the beginning to the end. She is a part of me, and the light of my eyes. She is the flower of my heart, and is my soul. Fatima is a human huri, who whenever she stands in prayers in the presence of her Lord (Exalted is His name), her light illuminates the skies for the angels, like stars shine to people on Earth.” The Prophet had a special love for Fatima. He (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) has also said: "Whoever pleased Fatima has indeed pleased God and whoever has caused her to be angry has indeed angered God. Fatima is a part of me. Whatever pleases her pleases me and whatever angers her angers me."

And because during the day of Judgement she will intercede for the sinners of her lovers and like the narration says, she will pick her Shiites (followers) and those who love her just like a bird picks good seeds from bad seeds. Her lovers and followers give great interest to the celebration of her birth anniversary and to the commemoration of her martyrdom anniversary (peace be upon her).

From this point the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from the Department of the service affairs have decorated the holy shrine with flowers, in very magnificent art forms, commensurate with the magnitude of this occasion. aiming to make the visitors feel the joy and happiness for the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Lady Fatima (peace be upon her).

The staff of the holy shrine's nursery made a vertical circular carpet out of flowers with a diameter of 2,33m, with a design of an apple as a reminder of the narrations stating that the Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) was created out of a paradise's apple, in the middle of which it was written always with flowers the name "Fatima". For the formation of this artwork there were some 3000 flowers used, and it was put at the right side of the entrance of the holy shrine.

As for the left side of the entrance, another vertical carpets of flowers was put in the form of the logo of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, also with the use of 3000 flowers formed in consistent colours. For the same occasion, there was also the distribution of 12 beautiful natural rose bouquets at the main entrances leading to the holy shrine.
