To serve the visitors of the Arba'een, the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine opens a service complex with an area of 3000 square meters at the zarbatia border port

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has opened an integrated service complex with an area of 3,000 square meters at the zarbatia border port in Wasit governorate to receive and serve the visitors of the Arba'een.

The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin and a number of its officials and servants.

The commander of the Abbas's (peace be upon him) Squad, Mr. Maytham al-Zaidi, said that "the opening of the complex at the Zarbatia border port comes in implementation of the directives of His Eminence, the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to establish service complexes that are closest to visitors and constitute a civilized interface, and the complex was designed entirely by the hands of the Holy Shrine's staffs, to be a role model in the field of services provided to visitors."

He added that "the complex extends over a total area of 3000 square meters, of which 2030 square meters is a built-up area, and includes two halls for receiving visitors, one for men and one for women equipped with the latest amenities of cooling and heating, in addition to 26 bathroom groups, a large kitchen serving various meals, food stores, an ice-making laboratory along with a water purification plant".

He continued that " the complex aims to provide the best services to visitors, and provide a comfortable and convenient environment for them," noting that "the presence of an equipped meeting room in the complex makes it a suitable place to hold meetings and various events."

Al-Zaidi pointed out that" the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine seeks to expand its services to visitors, as it was able to provide 110 thousand meals to visitors at the zarbatia port last year, and aspires to double this number during the current year, "pointing out that"there are plans to establish a similar complex in the ports of Shalamcheh, al-Shibh, Safwan, and Mandhiriya."

For his part, the authorized director of the Ataa al-Amthal company overseeing the completion of the complex; Sayed Haydar al-Mousawi, said, "today we opened an integrated service complex at the Zarbatia port to serve the visitors of Arba'een," adding that "there is a future plan to expand the complex will be applied on the ground after obtaining the necessary approvals."
