Quranic recitation to celebrate the birth anniversary of Our Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her)..

Our Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) has a special relationship with the holy Quran, one of her name was the night of destiny [Qadr], and she (peace be upon her has said in her historical sermon in the Nabawi Mosque: "...You are Allah's servants, who are ordered to carry out His commands for what is obligatory and what is forbidden, and you are the carriers of the burden of Allah's Religion and Revelations, and you are entrusted with the trusteeship of yourselves. You are charged with the propagation of Allah's Message to all the people of the world. The leader of Truth is amongst you [meaning her husband Imam Ali (peace be upon him)], and the Pledge that he has pledged with you from before (at Ghadir Khum on 18th of Dhu Al-Hijjah 10 A.H.) and the remnant that has been left behind for you, the rational and articulate Book of Allah (Holy Quran), the true Quran, the radiant light, the effulgent radiation, His proofs are manifest, and it's obscurities are clarified, that what is apparent of it, is clear, and those who follow it are the envy of all the rest; those who follow it's path are led into Allah's pleasure, those who heed it are led towards salvation, and by it are attained the enlightened arguments of Allah, and his elucidated intentions, and what is forbidden and has been warned against, and the self evident proofs that have been made clear, and sufficient proofs and the virtues that are desirable, and the indulgence of Allah that was divinely bestowed, and the divine laws that have been recorded..."

From this standpoint, and to celebrate her blessed birth anniversary, the Holy Quran Institute of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has held on the evening of Friday the 20th of Jumada II 1436 AH, corresponding to the 10th of April 2015, in an atmosphere of joy at the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) a Quranic ceremony, in which have participated an elite of Quran readers and a group of young reader, in the presence of large numbers of the visitors.

It is noteworthy that the Holy Quran Institute in addition to the establishment of this contest, it has organized many Quranic evenings and takes care of the talented children and the youth by the development of their talents in the learning, recitation and interpretation of the Holy Quran, as well as cooperating with the other Quranic institutions to exchange experiences and participate in competitions and festivals, and opening preparation courses for the Quran teachers.
