Umm Al-Baneen processions (peace be upon her) provide various medical services to visitors

The Umm Al-Baneen processions group (Peace be upon her) at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provides various medical services to visitors, with the participation of specialized medical staff and 120 volunteers.

The supervisor of the processions, Mr. Majed Al-Rubaie, said that"the procession provides multiple treatment services to visitors through specialized medical staff over a period of 24 hours, in addition to the services of the medical detachment of student volunteers, which amounted to 120 volunteers, distributed between male and female students under the supervision of specialized professors, indicating that the procession is located at the Al-Ameed University on the visitors road (Najaf - Karbala)."

He added that"the procession provides various medical services to visitors, such as providing treatment and dressing, in addition to radiology and a dental chair prepared by the Red Crescent Society, as well as ambulances equipped with modern equipment, which were provided in cooperation with the Maysan health department to transport cases in need of rapid medical interventions to nearby hospitals."

For his part, the head of the medical detachments in the group, Dr. Jassim Mohsen al-Soltani, stated that "the detachment of students of the Al-Ameed University and its professors is an essential part of the Umm Al-Baneen service processions group, which provides medical and health services to distinguished visitors heading towards Holy Karbala."

"This detachment is an important point in helping visitors to reach the holy city of Karbala safely, as about 2,000 to 3,000 visitors pass through this point every day, whether men or women,"he said.

He pointed out that"the goal of these detachments is to provide the best medical services to visitors, as well as train and sensitize students, and introduce them to the field of work under the direct supervision of their professors".
