The procession of the Two Holy Shrines from the Husseini service stations on the visitors' road

The procession of the holy shrines of al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which was established after 2003 on an area of two dunums, has witnessed remarkable development over the years.

The procession is the first of the service stations belonging to the two holy shrines, through which visitors of the Arba'een pass from the axis of Najaf Al-Ashraf governorate, and provides a variety of services, including accommodation, food and drink in addition to health and medical services, a center for guiding the lost linked to all other centers, as well as religious guidance and guidance services, including the service of correcting the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha, and some surahs through the Quranic stations.

The supervisor of the procession, Mr. Makki al-Safi, said that "the procession began on a modest area, then it witnessed a major expansion in 2005, where the host complex of the Sahib Al-Zaman(may Allah the Almighty hasten his holy reappearance) and ten large tents were built to receive visitors, and the development did not stop there, but included the establishment of a spacious hall to hold condolences' councils, and with the support of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a large central kitchen with an area of 600 square meters was built to meet the needs of visitors.".

"In a qualitative step, the Amir Al-Mu'mineen(peace be upon him) Educational Service Complex has been established with an area of 1000 square meters and five floors, it includes halls for receiving visitors, a religious school and another for seminars and conferences, and work is underway to establish the Lady Fatima Al-Zahra(peace be upon her) women complex with an area of 600 square meters to serve female visitors,"he added.

"This great development was not limited only to the construction side, but also extended to the scientific and religious side, as the Hawza chose this procession as a center and a meeting place for scholars, religious science students and preaching projects,"Al-Safi pointed out.

"A large number of volunteers are working in the procession, in addition to some members of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), and all of them have harnessed their capabilities and made them serve the visitors and see them racing to get the honor of serving the visitor,"said Al-Safi.
