The hussayni processions and bodies continue their mourning program at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them); in commemoration of the Ziyarat Arba'een.
The hussayni processions began with condolence processions that roamed the streets of the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
The processions start from the Qibla street of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) passing through his holy courtyard, reaching the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), passing by the square between the Two Holy Shrines, chanting Husseini lamentations and elegies.
The marches witness a wide participation from various segments of society, who are keen to commemorate this painful tragedy; the embodiment of the principles of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his great sacrifices for the sake of truth and Justice.
Large crowds of mourners from all over Iraq and the world flocked to the streets of Karbala to participate in the mourning marches held in memory of the tragic al-Taf event.
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has assigned teams to accompany the march of each procession from the moment it starts to its conclusion, taking the responsability to organize the procession and not to gather or overcrowding, according to special paths to ensure that there is no intersection between one procession and another or with visitors.
