Umm Al-Baneen processions (peace be upon her) provide more than 100 thousand meals during 9 days to Ziyarat Arba'een

The Umm Al-Baneen processions group (Peace be upon her) affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine located on the axis of Najaf - Karbala at Al-Ameed university, provided more than 100 thousand meals during 9 days to Ziyarat Arba'een.

The group is witnessing a large turnout of visitors coming from inside and outside Iraq on foot towards the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The official of the processions, Mr. Majed Al-Rubaie, said that"since the eighth of the month of Safar until now, the procession has distributed more than 100 thousand varied meals, divided into three times a day for visitors, in addition to distributing more than 500 kilograms of various fruits a day".

"The procession also provides more than 2,000 cartons of chilled water daily, offered to visitors along the way, along with natural juices that are constantly distributed, to meet their needs in high temperatures,"he added.

He explained that "the services of the Umm Al-Baneen processions group (Peace be upon her) were not limited to the food aspect only, but also include the provision of medical, cultural and intellectual services to visitors, as religious lectures and condolence councils are held in the procession to remind visitors of the importance of this blessed Ziyarat, and the procession includes a reading correction project for visitors, and provides places for visitors to rest and stay, as the procession hosts more than 7500 visitors daily".
