Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital has doubled its efforts in providing multiple services to the visitors of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn(peace be upon him) through its medical and service procession.
The hospital's Information Officer, Mr. Hazem Fadel, said that"Al-Kafeel hospital has doubled its efforts according to an emergency plan developed by the hospital administration, to provide medical services to support the Karbala health department during the Ziyarat Arba'een; through field medical detachments placed on the visitors' route, along with a service procession providing various food services."
"The medical plan includes many axes, including a detachment that includes an integrated medical and nursing team of men and women, including 50 doctors and nurses from inside and outside Iraq,"he added.
"The detachment provides various medical services, including initial clinical treatment, treatment of chronic diseases, dealing with emergency cases, cardiac planning and resuscitation, physiotherapy, treatment of fatigue and muscle spasms, in addition to the field pharmacy that dispenses medicines and treatments for visitors,"Fadel said.
He explained that " the detachment provided its services last days to more than 2600 visitors from inside and outside Iraq, on the axis road (Najaf – Karbala), heading to the center of the Old City," stressing that "the detachment will continue to provide its services until the end of the days of the Ziyarat Arba'een".
He continued, "the service procession of the hospital continues to provide its services to visitors for several days, and continues until the end of the Blessed Ziyarat Arba'een, as the number of meals served daily amounted to more than 2400 meals, along with cold drinking water and juices".
