The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concluded its annual mourning councils on the occasion of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
The council was held in the Hall of honors of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine in the presence of its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and is supervised by the public relations department in cooperation with the Public Speaking Division of al-Husseini preaching.
The council began with a beautiful recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, followed by a religious lecture delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dujaili, in which he touched on aspects of the biography of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his sacrifices, the principles for which he sacrificed, his reform revolution and the lofty concepts urged by the eternal Husseini cause to draw inspiration and lessons from them, and on the occasion of the Ziyarat Arba'een.
The lecturer also touched upon the journey of the captives from the family of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) from the city of Karbala to Kufa, and then to the Levant and their return to Karbala in memory of the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and the impact of that trip in the victory of justice and the realization of truth, along with the aspects of patience and sacrifice embodied in it.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is keen to revive the occasions of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by establishing condolence councils, within special programs that include multiple condolence activities.
