The Media Department announces its achievements in the Ziyarat Arba'een

The media department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced its achievements for the period from 1st to 20th of Safar for the year 1446 AH corresponding to 25th August 2024.

The head of the Department, Mr. Ali al-Badri, said:"the media department has mobilized the efforts of its journalistic and technical staff since the first of the month of Safar and accompanied the departure of hordes of walkers towards the Holy Karbala to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and worked to cover the routes of visitors and facilitate the work of the media from inside and outside Iraq."

He added that "the staff of the media department worked to cover all the details of the Ziyarat, producing 335 short news and art videos, in addition to 21 TV episodes, documentaries and video clips".

"The number of written news has reached 359 news, 201 infographics have been published, and 37 graphic stories,"al-Badri added.

The head of the media department pointed out that"the staff of the department wrote six news stories, 80 articles, nine Press Investigations, an opinion poll and dialogues about the Ziyarat Arba'een, while they conducted 45 news coverage, 64 TV interviews, and the pictures taken were 1284 photos".

As for the live broadcast, al-Badri explained that "the channels benefiting from this service numbered 123 channels, as for the media identification cards granted, the number of Cards was 538, and the number of hours of live broadcast was 480 hours".
