The pavilion of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine at the International Book Fair of Baghdad left positive impressions..

The participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by its Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the International Book Fair of Baghdad left positive impressions for whoever has visited its pavilion, as it is exposing more than 130 titles of various publications that were dedicated for all age groups. Also the pavilion excelled thanks to the fact that all its publications are the product of the staff of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, in terms of the content, typesetting, design and all the technical matters up to the printing.

The Deputy Head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Sayed Aqeel Abd Al-Hussayn Al-Yassiri explained to the Al-Kafeel Network: "The pavilion was visited by important academic, religious and cultural figures who have stated that it is an opportunity to be briefed about the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its intellectual and construction achievements, as many people limit the role of the holy shrines to being places of worship and performing Zyarat rituals, but now we can see that the holy shrines including the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine are interested in many other fields such as the cultural, intellectual and urban. Noting that the participation in the international fairs that are held within and outside Iraq is an opportunity to inform about the different roles of the holy shrine."

Adding: "This edition of the International Book Fair of Baghdad is an exceptional edition, because of the conditions under which the country lives. And our participation along with other publishing houses and institutions is clear message to the world; despite the hard conditions of Iraq, it remains a lover of culture, thought and literature. As one hand is defending the country against the groups of terrorists and the other hand is reading and thinking of a brighter tomorrow."

It is noteworthy that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participate frequently in various exhibitions and festivals within and outside Iraq, in a very distinct way commensurate with the its approach in the dissemination of the thought and teachings of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), noting that the number of its pavilion visitors is increasing like the increase of the publications it produces, publishes and exposes in every Book Fair.
