The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has completed its preparations to participate in the twenty-fifth edition of the Baghdad International Book Fair.
Its participation will include a number of its departments, including the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, the Department of Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs, and the Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran.
The director of the Center for thought and creativity of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, Mr. Mohammed al-Araji, said: "this participation confirms the leading role of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in supporting the Iraqi and Islamic intellectual and cultural movement.
"During our participation in the exhibition, we will present a variety of publications that cover multiple intellectual and cultural fields, which reflect the Islamic identity and enhance community awareness."
He explained that " the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine seeks to provide scientific and cultural content that meets the aspirations of readers and researchers of different ages, as a pavilion will be dedicated to displaying the latest publications that we have prepared in the past period, which focus on vital issues of interest to Iraqi society and the Islamic world."
The Baghdad International Book Fair is one of the most prominent cultural events in Iraq, as it attracts local and international publishing houses as well as thousands of visitors from various social segments.
