The procession of the two holy shrines commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him) in Samarra

The procession of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him) in the city of Samarra.

One of the procession servants; Mr. Hussein al-Safi, said:"the procession of the two holy shrines used to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him) by organizing a march in the city of Samara towards his Holy Shrine, followed by the establishment of a mourning Council on this occasion."

"This event comes within a range of activities held by the procession, which includes providing various services to visitors to the shrine of the Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-Askari (peace be upon them), including drinking water and meals,"he added.

"The procession is not limited to providing food and accommodation for visitors, but also includes organizing community prayers, holding mourning councils, guiding and disciplining young people," Al-Safi explained, stressing that "the youth presence was remarkable this year".
