The holy shrines of Iraq announce their participation in the festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and describe it by being one of the communication points of spirituality with Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)..

The holy shrines of Iraq announce their active participation in the Third Annual Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the city of Hydarabad in India under the slogan "The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) a divine tender and human approach" on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them), for the period of the 12 to 16th of the blessed month of Rajab 1436 AH corresponding to the 2 to 6th of May 2015.

The Secretaries-General of the holy shrines have confirmed their active participation commensurate with the occasion and the status of the holy shrines. The Secretary-General of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), Sayed. Nizar Habl Mateen expressed his delight for receiving this invitation, praising at the same time on the activities undertaken by the Al-Abbas' (p) holy shrine such as the establishment of the communicative festivals that have great importance in the hearts of the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) all over the world including India. And they are also an opportunity to inform about the role and activities of the holy shrines.

The Secretary-General of the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai has stated for his part: "There is no doubt that such festivals play an important role in introducing the thought of Imams of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) especially those who live in the far countries. And this festival is important thanks to the number of the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in India and also by the activities held in it such as the introduction of the holy shrines, their activities and their achievements in the intellectual and cultural fields, as well as the spiritual communication."

The Secretary-General of the holy shrine of Imams Al-Kadhem and Al-Jawad (peace be upon both of them), Dr. Jamal Ad-Dabbagh has also praised on the activities of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in establishing international festivals such as the Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) saying: "Praise be to God and by the blessings of the Imams Al-Kadhem and Al-Jawad (peace be upon both of them) during the last edition, there was a great interaction with the pavilion of the holy shrine of Al-Kadhimiyah, and our delegation had and influential presence with their bothers from the other holy shrines, and God willing we will participate in this edition as befits the status of the holy shrines of Iraq and the holy shrine of Al-Jawadayn especially."

It is noteworthy that the Cultural Festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) is held for the veneration of Ahl Al-Bayt's (Peace be upon them) rituals, in order to spread their culture, their approach and their biographies that teach the world the true meaning of Islam, and to confirm the great role of the Iraqi holy shrines in general and of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in particular, by the establishment and sponsorship of festivals, seminars and conferences inside and outside the country, showing how they became in record time a guidance beacon for all and a brilliant model at all levels.
