The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine concludes its participation in the Baghdad International Book Fair

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded its participation in the twenty-fifth Baghdad International Book Fair.

The director of the Center for Thought and Creativity of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine; Mr. Mohammed al-A'raji, said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine concluded its participation in the Baghdad International Book Fair in its twenty-fifth session, reviewing more than 670 publications ranging from encyclopedias, court journals, heritage, religious and ideological books, which made the pavilion an attraction for researchers, intellectuals and families".

He added that"the pavilion included the presentation of the two encyclopedias of the fatwa of efficient defense and Friday sermons, which represent an important documentation of the events experienced by Iraq, and contribute to spreading awareness about the role of religious authority in guiding society, in addition to a group of refereed scientific journals, which includes refereed research in various scientific fields, from jurisprudence, Islamic thought, humanities, and literature".

Al-A'raji pointed out that"the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is keen to provide various scientific publications, covering various intellectual and scientific fields, with the aim of promoting Islamic culture and providing intellectual content that serves researchers and those interested".

The participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the twenty-fifth edition of the Baghdad International Book Fair was represented by a unified pavilion that included five of its departments: (the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, the Department of Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs, the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, the al-Wafi foundation for documentation and studies, and the higher authority for the revival of heritage).
