Within the manufacturing stages of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him): manufacturing the upper golden flowers..

The works continue of the manufacturing of the new shrine's grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him, according to the developed plans without intersection between the manufacturing and installation. And lately the manufacturing of the upper golden flowers that will be installed on the second Quranic plates is finished.

The 60 manufactured flowers are distributed as follow, 17 flowers from the side of the Qibla door, and other 17 from the other side; the door of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him), 13 from the side of the grid's door (in front of the door of the Euphrates [Al-'Alqami]) and other 13 from the opposite side. The flowers take the form of a fig leaf curved inwards to stand out the rest of pieces and patterns, each of them is of 38 cm length and 30cm width. It is centred by smaller rose oval-shaped with 12cm length and 8cm width on a ground of blue enamel surrounded by a golden belt, from which start vegetable carvings in ray form, and they are the same inscriptions as in the old grid.

The flowers' manufacturing passes through many operations; as after taking the exact measurements, the inscriptions are done by the machines (CNC) then they are corrected manually, which takes long time and effort as the machine does not give the exact and required results, then comes the operations of trimming, smoothing, polishing and welding the places that will be installed on the wooden structure, and after confirmation of compliance with the measurements by linking them to the wooden structure, the operation of painting them with enamel and gold water are conducted in special workshops inside the factory of the shrines' grids at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, using high standards and accurate mixing ratios.

These parts that have reached advanced stages of completion are distinguished by the feature of installation, which is one of the additions created on the new grid, it is a modern artistic method different from the used fixation methods as it is hidden and looks like one piece with other parts. And thankfully the completion of this plate has achieved advances stages as a large section is already installed on the wooden structure of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
