The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine continues to receive aid to support the Lebanese people

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to receive aid as part of the relief campaign for the Lebanese people; in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, after the recent attacks on Lebanon.

The official of the relief and support division at the holy shrine, Sheikh Haider al-'Aredhi, said:"in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf and pursuant to the directives of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a Special Relief Committee was formed to oversee the collection of donations and their delivery to the Lebanese people by land and air."

He added that" the holy shrine campaign includes providing assistance to the affected people in Lebanon, and the establishment of relief centers for the Lebanese displaced in Syria and Iraq, "pointing out that"the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine has prepared its warehouses to collect aid from all Iraqi provinces, and works to coordinate government agencies to deliver it to those who deserve it."

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced account numbers dedicated to collecting material donations for the Lebanese people, following its exposure to the brutal Israeli aggression, and this step comes to facilitate the participation of citizens wishing to contribute, and to enhance efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese people in these difficult circumstances.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine had issued a statement confirming the sending of urgent humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people, after the repeated attacks of the Israeli entity on Lebanon.
