The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has initiated the establishment of a central kitchen to provide daily meals to the Lebanese displaced in Syria.
The official of the holy shrine's delegation to Syria; Sayed Nafi' Ni'mah al-Moussawi, said, "We have started work on establishing a central kitchen to provide meals with three meals a day for the Lebanese brothers displaced in Syria due to the brutal attacks on the Lebanese people."
He added that"the delegation, in cooperation with the religious authority office in Syria, allocated two sites, the first to establish the Central Kitchen in the garage near Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), and the other will be a warehouse to receive other aid convoys coming from Iraq and provide logistical support and food baskets to the affected families."
This initiative comes in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf and the directives of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs.
