The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received the first meal of the displaced Lebanese families, as a result of the Zionist aggression on Lebanon, and includes 170 people.
The Sheikh Al-Kulayni Complex of the holy shrine witnessed the reception of the first group from displaced families, after it was equipped with all the necessary supplies that they may need, starting from accommodation, food and water, to health care and psychological support.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine will receive other groups from displaced Lebanese families who flock to the province of Karbala, as it has prepared its service complexes, including: Sheikh Al-Kulayni Complex, Al-Alqami Complex, and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas Complex (peace be upon him), to accommodate them.
This step comes as part of the relief campaign launched by the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine to help the Lebanese people, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, the need to stand by the Lebanese people and do what contributes to alleviating their suffering and securing their humanitarian needs.
Through this initiative, the holy shrine seeks to provide food and medical assistance, harness its logistical and service means to ensure the comfort and safety of the displaced during their stay, in addition to sending humanitarian aid by air and land to Lebanon.
