The Department of Intellectual Affairs organizes a Fiqh course for women in Nigeria

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized an accelerated Fiqh course for women in Nigeria, within the framework of the preaching caravan project.

The official of the preaching unit at the Center for African Studies of the Department, Mr. Muslim al-Jaberi, said that "the Center organized a quick Fiqh course for women that lasted for two days, within the (preaching caravan project) in Nigeria in the city of Qarmata in the Katina municipality," indicating that "the course witnessed a wide participation by women believers".

He added that"the ongoing preaching caravan project in the african continent is one of the most important projects aimed at spreading fiqh and ideological awareness in African societies, especially in remote cities, as the center has implemented dozens of courses in which large numbers of different social segments, adults, children, men and women, participated".

For his part, the coordinator of the center, Mr. Bashir al-Thani, stressed the importance of these courses in guiding Islamic communities towards a correct understanding of the rulings of religion, and promoting Islamic values in their daily lives, pointing to the continuation of these events throughout Nigeria and other African countries.

This course is part of a series of outreach and educational activities organized by the center on the African continent to spread and promote religious awareness and Islamic culture.
