The Department of medical affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has established medical detachments to serve the guests of Iraq from the brotherly Lebanese people.

The head of the medical affairs department, Dr. Haifa Tamimi, said that "the department has prepared two medical detachments for women and men and an ambulance in the Sheikh Al-Kulayni complex affiliated to the holy shrine, which includes a number of Lebanese families," indicating that "medical detachments work 24 hours to provide the necessary medical care to the guests of Iraq.

"The external host has been equipped with all the necessary medical devices and supplies to receive the guests, with the registration of their treatment needs and the required medicines,"she added.

Tamimi stressed on "directing medical committees working with a resident doctor to provide medical services and consultations to guests in their places provided by the holy shrine, with periodic follow-up of their health conditions, in addition to special records to record their medical position of women and men".

The holy shrine is keen to provide the best medical services to all visitors, including the brotherly Lebanese people, and the number of beneficiaries of services continues to increase, as about 200 patients have been treated so far, according to Tamimi.
