Displaced Lebanese in Syria send letters of thanks to the supreme religious authority and the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine

The displaced people of Lebanon in Syria sent letters of thanks to the supreme religious authority in Najaf and the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, for the distinguished relief efforts that were provided to them under their difficult conditions.

Mr. Ali Rabah, from Baalbek, said," We extend our thanks and gratitude to the supreme religious authority in Najaf, and the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine came at the right time, and provided us with what we need from the necessities of life, "indicating that"the support provided by the supreme religious authority and the holy shrines in Iraq, no one has provided to the Lebanese people."

"The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has provided various means of relief, including medical, food, children's supplies, shelter and others,"he added.

For her part, Mrs. Susan Sharaf al-Din said, "We are grateful to the supreme religious authority that supported us in this ordeal, we cannot express how grateful we are for the assistance that reached us from the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, which did not delay in extending a helping hand to us both inside and outside Iraq".

In the same context, the media professional Jenan Masri said that"the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which were made under the guidance of its Senior Official; sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and their hosting of Lebanese families, we felt as if we were at home, and forgot the tragedy of displacement that we suffered as a result of the brutal attacks".

The relief campaign launched by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to support the Lebanese people comes within the framework of the ongoing humanitarian effort to provide aid and assistance to those affected by the war, and an embodiment of the meanings of solidarity between the Iraqi and Lebanese peoples, especially after the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese brothers and secure their basic needs.
