The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is preparing to launch the fourth aid convoy to help the Lebanese people

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is preparing to launch the fourth aid convoy to relieve the Lebanese people affected by the Israeli aggression.

The fourth relief convoy includes a range of various items and necessary supplies of food, and logistical supplies.

The campaign comes in response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf and the directives of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to do what contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese people and securing their humanitarian needs.

In the previous days, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched three convoys of aid as part of its relief campaign, which included equipping a field hospital and another Mobile One, A team of specialized doctors and cars loaded with medicines and foodstuffs to distribute to Lebanese families, in addition to a central kitchen to prepare food for displaced families in shelter centers.

The first convoy of aid was sent through the airspace in coordination with the Iraqi government, and included a set of necessary supplies, in addition to logistical matters, while the second included 400 tons of humanitarian aid, by 40 vehicles, in addition to 3 fuel carriers with a capacity of 36 thousand liters, while the third convoy was loaded with about 1200 tons of food, medicine, fuel and water, distributed to 55 trucks.

In addition to convoys of food aid and logistical support, the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine sent a shipment of medical aid to Lebanon, in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society.

This aid will be followed by others, according to a plan developed by the relief committee formed by the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine in coordination with government agencies in Iraq.

The holy shrine is keen to provide support to the Lebanese people, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority and in solidarity with the Lebanese people in their current crisis.
