The launch of the morning research sessions of the second international specialized conference in information and libraries

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine witnessed the launch of the morning research sessions of the second international specialized conference in information and libraries.

The conference is organized by the Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, in cooperation with the Departments of information and knowledge technologies at Mustansiriya University, Basra University, and Mosul University.

The morning session of the conference included the discussion of three scientific researches, the first dealt with (the approach between the capabilities of artificial intelligence applications and the skills of information specialists in providing improved information services) by Dr. Naima Hassan Jabr, while the second research was tagged with (benefiting from artificial intelligence applications in improving and developing Library Services: academic libraries as a model) by Dr. Saif al-Jabri, researcher Walid bin Ali Al-Badi, and the third research was titled (The impact of artificial intelligence tools in the indexing process: CHATGPT as a model) by researchers Hussein Mohammed Ibrahim, Ali Khudair Mahdi.

By holding this type of conference, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine seeks to support the Departments of information and knowledge technologies in Iraqi universities, develop skills, as well as exchange experiences in this field, and encourage researchers to use libraries and enable knowledge.
