With hearts filled with grief and sorrow, the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) commemorate the death anniversary of the venerated daughter of Bani Hashem, the mother of calamities, the Great Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), as the condolence procession of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was launched in the afternoon of Monday the 15th of Rajab 1436 AH corresponding to the 4th of May, 2015, from the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing through the courtyard between to the two holy shrines to reach the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), whose servants were there to welcome them. A condolence Majlis was held in which the mourners raised their voices reciting poems and epitaphs which embodied and represented the greatness of this calamity and the sorrow in the heart of the faithful.
The walls of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine were covered with black and grief and sorrow overshadowed the atmosphere. During the condolence program held at the guest-house, the preacher recalled the oppression and injustice that Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) faced, and he explained the size of her sacrifices especially with her brother Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) as she was the spokesman of this blessed uprising, and she was the one who has revealed the crimes, injustice and violation of Banu Umayyah and how they falsified the religion...
The two holy shrines since yesterday, have received the condolences' processions coming from inside and outside Iraq to commemorate the Death's anniversary of the venerated daughter of Bani Taleb, the great Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), as well as tens of thousands of visitors who came to present their condolence to her brothers Imam Al-Hussayn and Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
It is to mention that Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) died to be relieved from the succession of misfortunes and calamities that she faced with patience, steadfastness and courage. The lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) held each year condolences Majlis, obituaries and symbolic funerals, in which the orators and poets speak about the different sides of the life of this great lady, from her virtues to the calamities she has faced with great pride.
