The Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine expands humanitarian assistance to displaced Lebanese in Syria

The Relief Committee of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to distribute humanitarian aid to displaced Lebanese in Syria.

The official of the delegation of the holy shrine to Syria, Mr. Hashem al-Shami, said:"the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine continues to provide relief assistance to the displaced Lebanese in Syrian territory, which includes the preparation of daily meals and the distribution of food baskets, in addition to receiving patients and providing them with treatment."

"The holy shrine has expanded the scope of relief aid in the Syrian governorates to ensure that it reaches the largest number of beneficiaries,"he explained, noting that "the distribution mechanism is carried out through an organized method that relies on contractors, each of whom distributes it to displaced residents in shelter centers, to ensure that food support reaches everyone regularly.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched three convoys of aid, as part of its relief campaign, including equipping a field hospital and another Mobile One, A team of specialized doctors and cars loaded with medicines and foodstuffs for distribution to Lebanese families, in addition to a central kitchen to prepare food for displaced families in shelter centers.

These convoys will be followed by other convoys, according to a plan developed by the relief committee formed by the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine in coordination with government agencies in Iraq.

The holy shrine is keen to provide support and assistance to the Lebanese people, in response to the call of the supreme religious authority and in solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people in their current crisis, to do what contributes to alleviating their suffering and securing their humanitarian needs.
