A member of the committee, Mr. Mohammed Ali Azhar, said that"the committee received more than 1000 Lebanese citizens from the guests of Iraq, and ensured the creation of suitable accommodation, including four hotels and a service complex, in addition to equipping a group of houses".
He added that"the public relations department at the holy shrine supervised the mechanism of reception and accommodation of Lebanese citizens, while the host department ensured the preparation of three meals a day, in addition to snacks".
"The shelters are equipped with all the necessary supplies needed by the guests of Iraq, and these services fall within the relief effort of the holy shrine for the Lebanese people,"Azhar said.
"The services provided also included the medical service through the Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, the detachments equipped by the holy shrine in the shelters, as well as the moral, material and logistical services needed by Lebanese citizens,"he explained.
